普渡同学会于今年五月举办了首次普渡学者聚会。这次聚会的主要目的是给在普渡学习的同学，在普渡交流的访问学者和在普渡的华人教授一个交流的平台。让大家有机会在轻松的环境下互相交流在美国生活和从事科学研究的经验。

来普渡大学交流访问的学者近期欢聚一堂，交流在普渡的心得体会

孙立人（1900-1990），抗日名将，字仲伦，安徽省庐江县金牛镇人，祖籍安徽舒城。1923年毕业于清华大学土木工程系，同年赴美留学，就读于印第安纳州普渡大学土木工程系，1924年毕业，获理学士学位。

We are looking for self-motivated people to work to build up the Purdue Chinese alumni network and communications among alumni, current students, visiting scholars, and Purdue faculties and researchers.

We need people interested in
● contributing to our efforts
● composing English or Chinese documents
● graphic design
● fund raising and financial management
● event planning and coordination
● web-based community design and build-up
● communicating with successful Purdue Chinese Alumni
